EyeQube Studios Pvt. Ltd., a new subsidiary of Eros International plc, has been formed with an initial investment of around USD 5-7 million in October 2007. It will primarily manage the visual effects segment of all home productions and co-productions of Eros International. Charles Darby, who initiated the concept of digital matte paintings, has been appointed as the creative director of the company.

The subsidiary was formed to make an inroad for creating visual effects and offer a platform for Indian filmmakers and artists to display their creativity.

Since its formation, the subsidiary has already got hold of a few big film projects such as Drona and Aladin.
