The Global WPPED Cream Awards ceremony was held on 4 October at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. At this prestigious event, the Crème Da La Crème Award in the Corporate Public Relations Category, was bagged by Ogilvy Public Relations, India.
The award was handed over to Meenakshi Bhalla, President, Ogilvy Public Relations India and Diwakar Shukla, Senior Consultant, Ogilvy Public Relations India amongst the cheering crowd. |

The PR firm’s outstanding performance was acknowledged mainly due to its successful management of the Amararaja Batteries campaign. Their effort reflected the company’s clarity of objectives, well thought out execution skills, extensive research and creativity.
Furthermore, the campaign was successful in developing a connection with its target audience—Indian rural farmers and their families.

Eight Crème De La Crème awards were handed out during the event for various specified disciplines.
