Michael Newcity

Michael Newcity is a veteran C-suite executive with more than 30 years of experience at the intersection of strategy, technology, and innovation. As former CFO, CIO, and Chief Innovation Officer of ArcBest, a Fortune 1000 logistics and supply chain company, he led enterprise-wide transformation across finance, IT, and digital innovation.

At ArcBest, Michael redefined technology from a support function to a strategic growth engine. He built a venture-style innovation portfolio, established the company's first data science and AI function, and led development of Vaux, a patented material handling technology recognized by TIME as one of the Best Inventions of 2023. His initiatives in e-commerce, business intelligence, and advanced analytics drove measurable improvements in operational performance and customer engagement.

Michael joins Evalueserve's Partner Advisory Council to bring deep expertise in logistics, supply chain, and technology transformation, helping clients navigate complex strategic decisions in these rapidly evolving sectors. His unique perspective as both a technology innovator and financial executive enables him to guide organizations in balancing innovation with sustainable growth.

Michael holds a BS in Computer Information Systems and an MBA from the University of Arkansas, with additional executive education from Harvard, MIT, and London Business School.
