About Phillip

As an experienced and accomplished executive at UPS, Phillip has managed and developed multi-billion-dollar transportation products, established strategic partnerships with Fortune 100 companies and governments, and created and implemented market growth strategies globally. These strategies have resulted in accelerated and significant top-line revenue growth and profits for UPS and partners.

Phillip retired from UPS in September 2024 as UPS Global Products Director. He founded NXT Chapter International, a management consulting and advisory firm specializing in driving commercial growth and scaling businesses in both U.S. and global markets. Leveraging years of experience and a deep understanding of diverse industries and market dynamics, NXT Chapter provides strategic insights and innovative solutions to help clients achieve sustainable growth.

Phillip holds a Master's in Decision Sciences from Georgia State University in the U.S. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, eating, reading, and being a proud dad, cheering for his sons at wrestling matches and lacrosse games.

Career Highlights and Key Accomplishments

Launched UPS Global Economy Product.  The project required managing over 100 workstreams and collaborating with over 20 cross-functional teams, including commercial, operations, legal, tax, and procurement. Product development was completed in two months, and the product was deployed to over 30 countries, reducing customer costs and leading to a conversion opportunity pipeline worth hundreds of millions.

Developed new global outsourced commercial and operations models connected by turnkey technology solutions that enhanced service for customers, accelerated revenue growth, and increased operation efficiency.

Designed a multi-partner AI-certified and blockchain-verified brokerage platform simplifying e-commerce shipments between China and Middle Eastern countries.

Led China market growth project, expanding service to 21 new cities and growing share in existing markets, generating over $1B in annual revenue for UPS APAC business.

Led UPS APAC Region to become one of the most profitable regions for the company in 2007 and generated record profits for UPS China in 2010.

Received numerous community and UPS recognition, including UPS Horizon Awards for UPS business units with the highest annual growth.

Created Innovation@Work program with Junior Achievement to foster creative thinking among China's youth, playing a key role in the integrated brand campaign during the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and receiving multiple media accolades, including "Best Express Carrier for Small and Medium Businesses."
